Job Description

Pre-design inputs on schematic design and developmental concepts, reviewing all project documentation including plans and specifications as per timeline.

Project administration with respect to time schedules with respect to location and quantum of work reporting of same to Director

Monitoring DPR and if applicable rescheduling and reorganizing resources to avoid time lags

Ensure preparation of work breakdown structure of all the activities of site/sites of the project. Action taken to keep project on track if any contractor fails. ERP Implementation.

Cost control: Ensure BOQ preparation & work execution sticking to it

Coordination with the Consultants

Performance Review & Employee Welfare

Monitoring progress as per work schedule & quality assurance of work

Ensuring quality standards and all health and safety checks are adhered to

Frequent site monitoring to ensure compliance with all legal aspects of projects

Ensure agreement/work order and billing of contractor in timely manner

Labor welfare, Labor hutment standard, maintaining hindrance standard. Continues assessment if work progress to avoid sudden delay in work. Timely handover the work to contractor.

Ensure from that records of expenditure, accounting, costing and billing against progress, payments of contractors were maintained including reconciliation.

Ensure all works are undertaken within approved budget constraints identify cost saving opportunities and cost overruns and manages same. If applicable amendments in budget

Knowledge Sharing, Trainings & Development initiatives for self & subordinates

Monthly Progress report to Director/Management; take follow up from subordinates
