Swain Aluminium Private Limited is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Deputy Project Manager to support the planning, execution, and management of building construction projects. In this role, you will work closely with the Senior Project Manager to oversee project operations, coordinate teams, and ensure timely and high-quality project delivery. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills, experience in construction, and the ability to lead teams effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in Project Management
: Support the Senior Project Manager in the planning, execution, and delivery of building construction projects within scope, schedule, and budget.
Team Coordination
: Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and vendors to ensure that project goals are met.
Resource Allocation
: Help manage resources (labor, materials, equipment) and ensure they are used efficiently and effectively on-site.
Progress Monitoring
: Regularly monitor project progress, conduct site inspections, and identify potential delays or issues, providing solutions as necessary.
Quality Control
: Ensure construction work meets the required quality standards and complies with all relevant regulations, codes, and safety practices.
Documentation & Reporting
: Assist in preparing project documentation, reports, and progress updates for the Senior Project Manager and other stakeholders.
Communication
: Maintain regular communication with clients, vendors, and contractors to ensure smooth project flow and resolve any concerns.
Risk Management
: Assist in identifying potential project risks and work on mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
Mentorship
: Provide guidance and support to junior engineers and on-site construction staff, ensuring high-performance standards.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (Required).
4-10 years of experience in building construction or project management (Required).
Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, AutoCAD) (Preferred).
Strong knowledge of building codes, construction regulations, and safety standards.
Excellent communication, leadership, and team coordination skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Experience in quality control and cost estimation is a plus.
Preferred Experience:
Experience in industrial construction (Preferred).
Background in quality control and project cost estimation (Preferred).
Familiarity with project management tools and software (Preferred).
