Project Manager Capital Program Management Consulting Firm Contractual Role (4 10 Yrs)

Our client, a global consulting firm, is looking for a consultant to support them on a Large Capital Program Management project for a large steel major in India. They are looking for someone with prior experience in managing large capex projects with engineering/construction/steel firms.
Below summarizes the responsibilities of the consultant:
- Validating & refining project schedule
- Conducting, planning and scheduling workshops
- Support in implementing digital solutions for Large Project Management
- Day-to-day co-ordination with PMC, EPC contractors - ensuring timely execution of work
- Setting up governance - running reviews, tracking key metrics and preparing reports
An ideal candidate would have:
- 4 to 10 years of experience in managing large capex projects
- Experience of having worked with either an engineering/construction/steel firm or experience of being a project management consultant for construction projects
- A post-graduation degree from a top tier university is mandatory
This is a contractual opportunity and will be on an initial 12-month contract. The consultant will be required to be on-site from Monday to Friday in Hazira (Surat) and will be provided flybacks to the base location over the weekend.
