Project Manager - Brick Kiln Operations and Regulatory Compliance
Position Overview
Responsible for complete regulatory, operational, and compliance management of brick-kiln projects, including mining approvals, environmental permissions, pollution control certifications, and statutory registrations.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and coordinate Mining Plans in alignment with state mining department rules.
Lead Environmental Clearance (EC) processes, including baseline environmental studies, documentation, stakeholder consultations, and liaison with SEIAA/SEAC.
Obtain and manage Consent to Establish (CTE) and Consent to Operate (CTO) from the State Pollution Control Board; ensure continuous compliance with stipulated conditions.
Handle GST registration, compliance, invoicing, and regular return filing for kiln operations.
Ensure statutory compliance related to land, labor, safety, and operational permits.
Coordinate with environmental consultants, geologists, surveyors, legal experts, and government departments.
Develop operational plans for clay extraction, soil sourcing, fuel management, and kiln layout in accordance with approved mining plans.
Monitor emissions, fuel efficiency, ambient air, and adherence to pollution norms; oversee implementation of zigzag kiln technology.
Prepare and submit all required environmental, mining, and operational compliance reports.
Manage timelines, budgets, workflow, and documentation for all approval and renewal processes.
Maintain up-to-date records for inspections, audits, and statutory reporting.
Qualifications
Degree in PG Graduate in MBA , Environmental Science, Mining Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field.
Experience with brick kiln operations, mining approvals, or environmental compliance preferred.
Familiarity with EC, CTE, CTO, GST processes, and state regulatory systems.
Strong documentation, liaison, and project coordination skills.
