We are looking for dynamic, driven, and detail-oriented interns to join the Secretariat of Rajasthan. This is a unique opportunity to be part of the core political, administrative, and strategic operations at one of the highest executive offices in the state. Interns will work directly with the top leadership team on live projects, policy matters, constituency planning, research notes, and communications. The role combines political analysis, project management, research, and public affairs-ideal for those passionate about governance, politics, and impactful public service.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct research and prepare briefs on political, economic, and developmental issues
Assist in planning, execution, and tracking of constituency and governance-related projects
Provide insights on political developments, stakeholder mapping, and strategic advisories
Draft reports, policy documents, speech notes, and media talking points
Support social media and communication teams with data-backed content and narrative direction
Coordinate with local teams, government departments, and community groups
Track key data points and generate dashboards using MS Excel/PowerPoint
Contribute to strategic planning and high-level meetings with documentation and minutes
Be available for fieldwork, visits, and support during events and public engagements
Eligibility Criteria:
Bachelor-s/Master-s degree in Political Science, Economics, Public Policy, Project Management, or related fields
Preference to candidates with education from Delhi University, St. Xavier-s College Mumbai, or international universities
Skillsets Required:
Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Excellent communication (English and Hindi) and presentation skills
Willingness to travel and operate in dynamic, high-pressure environments
Commitment to long working hours and availability on weekends, if needed
Preferred Traits:
Self-starter with high ownership and discipline
Strong political and social awareness
Prior experience with political offices, government departments, or civil society work preferable
Passion for making a tangible impact through policy and governance
