Position Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and

CAPM Certified

individual to join our team as a Remote Training Coordinator Intern. This role is perfect for a recent CAPM credential holder looking to solidify their foundational project management knowledge while gaining valuable coordination and mentorship experience in an educational setting.

The primary responsibility will be to coordinate learning assistance and provide peer-to-peer guidance to students currently enrolled in GIMIT's CAPM certification training programs. This is a fully remote internship.

Key Responsibilities

1. Learning Assistance & Student Support



Peer-to-Peer Mentorship:

Act as a learning resource and mentor for CAPM students, providing guidance on understanding core concepts, PMBOK Guideprinciples, and exam preparation strategies.

Concept Clarification:

Assist students with clarification on project management terminology, process groups, knowledge areas, and the new domains (Fundamentals, Predictive, Agile, Business Analysis).

Study Group Facilitation:

Coordinate and, at times, lead virtual study sessions or Q&A forums to enhance collaborative learning.

Resource Curation:

Organize and share supplementary study materials, mock exams, and practice question links as directed by the lead instructor.

2. Training Coordination & Administration



Communication Hub:

Serve as the primary liaison between students and the lead instructor/GIMIT administration, relaying common questions, feedback, and logistical updates.

Schedule Management:

Assist in coordinating student-mentor meeting schedules, virtual class times, and internal training project deadlines.

Documentation:

Maintain clear records of student engagement, common areas of difficulty, and assistance provided.

Platform Management:

Assist students with navigating the online Learning Management System (LMS) and virtual collaboration tools.
Required Qualifications

Must possess and maintain the

CAPM (Certified Associate in Project Management) certification

from the Project Management Institute (PMI). A strong, foundational understanding of project management principles, methodologies (Predictive, Agile, Business Analysis), and the latest PMBOK Guidecontent. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and patiently. Demonstrated organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with common virtual collaboration tools (e.g., Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, etc.) and basic office software.
