JOB DESCRIPTION - PROJECT LEAD

Position Summary

As a Project Lead at JLL you will be responsible to oversee interior fitout projects from conception to completion. The successful candidate will manage complex commercial interior projects, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and ensure delivery within scope, budget, and timeline parameters while upholding JLL's commitment to excellence in commercial real estate services.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management

Lead and manage interior fitout projects across various commercial sectors including office spaces, retail, hospitality, and mixed-use developments



Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets



Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions when necessary, identify and manage the risk on the project



Ensure adherence to quality standards, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance



Coordinate with architects, MEP consultants, contractors, and vendors



Manage project documentation, change orders, and progress reporting



Team Leadership

Lead cross-functional project teams including designers, engineers, and contractors



Facilitate effective communication between all stakeholders



Conduct regular project meetings and presentations



Mentor junior team members and support their professional development



Client & Stakeholder Management

Serve as primary point of contact for clients throughout project lifecycle



Present project updates to senior management and clients



Manage client expectations and resolve conflicts professionally



Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and contractors



Quality & Compliance

Ensure all work meets design specifications and industry standards



Conduct regular site inspections and quality assessments



Oversee compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards



Implement best practices for project delivery and risk management



Required Qualifications

Education

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Interior Design



Professional certifications (PMP, LEED AP, or equivalent) preferred



Experience

10-12 years of proven experience in interior fitout project management



Demonstrated track record of successfully delivering commercial interior projects



Experience with various project delivery methods (Design-Build, Design-Bid-Build, etc.)



Knowledge of MEP systems integration in interior environments



Familiarity with sustainable design practices and green building standards



Technical Skills

Proficiency in project management software (MS Project, Primavera, or similar)



Knowledge of design software (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp)



Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and building systems



Expertise in cost estimation and budget management



Knowledge of relevant building codes and regulations

Excellent verbal and written communication abilities with capacity to present to diverse audiences

Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Proven ability to lead teams and influence stakeholders at all levels

Negotiation:

Strong negotiation skills for vendor management and conflict resolution



Attention to Detail:

Meticulous approach to project documentation and quality control



Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in related field



Experience with international projects or multi-site rollouts



Knowledge of construction contracts and procurement processes



Familiarity with local approval processes



Working Conditions

May require travel to various project locations



Occasionally required to work outside normal business hours to accommodate project schedules
