Position Overview:

As a Data Science AI - Project Manager at Primotech, you will be at the forefront of managing and executing complex data science and artificial intelligence projects. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, product managers, and stakeholders, to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and meet the highest quality standards. This role requires a blend of technical knowledge in AI and data science, along with strong project management skills

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Management: Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and risk management strategies. Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders and team members. Monitor and track project progress, ensuring alignment with project objectives and deadlines. Team Leadership and Coordination: Lead and mentor a diverse team of data scientists, AI engineers, and analysts. Facilitate regular team meetings, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives. Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment. Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, including clients, senior management, and external partners. Provide regular project updates, including status reports, risk assessments, and budgetary considerations. Address and resolve any issues or concerns that arise during the project lifecycle. Technical Oversight: Ensure that AI and data science solutions are designed and implemented according to best practices and industry standards. Oversee the development of models, algorithms, and data pipelines, ensuring they meet the project requirements and objectives. Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to troubleshoot and optimize solutions.

Budget and Resource Management:

Manage project budgets, including forecasting, tracking expenses, and ensuring cost-effectiveness. Allocate resources efficiently and effectively to meet project demands and constraints. Quality Assurance: Establish and enforce quality assurance processes to ensure the accuracy and reliability of AI and data science deliverables. Conduct reviews and evaluations to maintain high standards of work and continuous improvement. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and issues related to project scope, timelines, and resources. Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project outcomes. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including requirements, design specifications, and progress reports. Prepare and present detailed reports and analyses to stakeholders, highlighting key insights and recommendations.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree or PMP certification is a plus. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with at least 3 years specifically managing AI and data science projects. Technical Skills: Strong understanding of AI, machine learning, and data science concepts. Familiarity with data analysis tools, programming languages (e.g., Python, R), and AI frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch). Project Management Skills: Proven experience in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum). Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results on time. Leadership: Excellent leadership and team management skills. Ability to motivate and guide team members towards project goals. Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Analytical Skills: Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities. Ability to make data-driven decisions and recommendations. Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
