Role Purpose
The Project Lead will be responsible for
end-to-end ownership of corporate interior fit-out projects
, ensuring timely delivery, cost control, quality compliance, and superior client satisfaction. This role demands strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders across design, procurement, site execution, and client teams.
Key ResponsibilitiesProject Planning & Execution
Lead and manage corporate interior fit-out projects from
kick-off to handover
.
Develop detailed
project execution plans, schedules, and milestones
.
Coordinate with design, MEP, procurement, and site teams to ensure seamless execution.
Drive fast-track execution without compromising on quality or safety.
Client & Stakeholder Management
Act as the single point of contact for clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
Manage client expectations, approvals, variations, and change management.
Conduct regular progress reviews and client meetings with structured reporting.
Cost, Quality & Time Control
Ensure projects are delivered
within approved budgets and timelines
.
Monitor BOQs, track variations, and coordinate with QS/commercial teams.
Enforce quality standards, mock-ups, and inspection protocols.
Ensure compliance with statutory, safety, and ISO standards.
Team Leadership & Site Management
Lead multidisciplinary teams including project engineers, site managers, MEP teams, and vendors.
Drive productivity, accountability, and performance on site.
Mentor team members and ensure best practices in execution.
Risk & Safety Management
Identify project risks and proactively implement mitigation plans.
Ensure strict adherence to
EHS norms, site safety protocols, and documentation
.
Manage snag lists, punch points, and final handover documentation.
Key Skills & Competencies
Strong expertise in
corporate interior fit-out execution
(workplace interiors).
In-depth knowledge of
civil, finishes, MEP coordination, and authority compliance
.
Proven ability to manage
fast-track, multi-location projects
.
Excellent client-facing and negotiation skills.
Strong command over project reporting, MIS, and documentation.
Leadership mindset with a hands-on execution approach.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in
Civil Engineering / Architecture / Construction Management
.
8-15 years
of experience in corporate interior fit-out projects (Design & Build).
Prior experience with
Grade A corporate offices, IT/ITES, BFSI, MNC workplaces
preferred.
Exposure to large-scale projects (50,000 - 300,000+ sq. ft.) will be an added advantage.
Tools & Systems
Proficiency in
MS Project / Primavera
, AutoCAD (basic), and MS Office.
Familiarity with ERP, project management, and quality control systems.
