About the department The Commercial & Corporate Affairs - Global Business Services (GBS) unitis responsible for driving deliverables for multiple Corporate Vice President (CVP) areas within Commercial & Corporate Affairs, including Insulin, GLP-1 and ObesityMarketing, Market Access, Commercial Planning and Commercial Operations. The Commercial & Corporate Affairs unit supports Biopharm global marketing forHaemophilia and growth disorders.The Novo Nordisk Corporate Strategy has established the ambition to become leaders in Alzheimer\'s as a distinct TA as part of Other Serious Chronic Diseases (OSCD). The commercial team is therefore ramping up efforts to ensure flawless launch readiness to support the ambition and make Alzheimer\'s a distinct therapeutic area (TA) and a significant growth contributor for the company for the future. The position The primary role of this position is to support the development and execution of the Therapy Area (TA) Development Strategy in close collaboration with the cross-functional teams and external stakeholders. This to ensure strong foundations for the launch of semaglutide in early Alzheimer\'s disease. The Global Project Lead will work closely with and under the guidance of the Associate Global Director for TA Development. Key focus for the Global Project Lead includes: Analyse market trends evaluate the underlying drivers for market dynamics to support strategy and tactical plan for therapy area development Support NN efforts in external partnership assessment and establishment, to accelerate our progress in TA development, including with diagnostics companies, Alzheimer\'s consortia, etc Lead execution of initiatives to increase diagnosis rates Support development and execution of the biomarker strategy Establish key strategic partnerships with external stakeholders and consortia to accelerate the achievement of our objectives Required Qualification & Experience Master degree or above in relevant area 8+years of relevant work experience within pharmaceutical marketing/medical affairs/market access/sales Experience in therapy area development, from within pharma or from a policy or healthcare organisation Launch and pre-commercial strategy development and execution Affiliate experience is preferred, especially in marketing, medical and field-based roles (sales or medical) Experience in neurology is preferred Experience working across the value chain, including Translational Medicine, Business Innovation Garage, the pre-commercial functions, and strong partnership and co-creation with regions/affiliates.
