Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and manage all on-site activities for ground-mounted solar PV projects. Coordinate with civil, mechanical, and electrical teams to ensure smooth and efficient workflow. Oversee subcontractors for activities like piling, mounting structure erection, module installation, trenching, cabling, and earthing. Ensure all work complies with engineering drawings, quality standards, and safety regulations. Monitor and control project timelines, costs, and resource usage. Maintain site documentation including DPRs, material consumption logs, labor reports, and quality/safety checklists. Coordinate with logistics for timely delivery of materials and equipment. Liaise with local vendors, authorities, and client representatives as needed. Conduct toolbox talks, safety briefings, and enforce use of PPE and site discipline. Support testing, commissioning, and grid synchronization processes.

Qualifications and Experience:

Diploma or B.E./B.Tech in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.

Minimum 3-8 years of experience

in managing

ground-mounted solar project sites

. Strong understanding of civil works, structural assembly, and electrical installation for solar farms. Proven experience in managing MW-scale solar project execution. Familiar with project management tools and safety regulations (IS/IEC codes, MNRE/Central/State norms). Ability to manage labor teams, resolve site-level challenges, and deliver under pressure.
