Lead end-to-end execution of construction projects from mobilization to handover.
Prepare and monitor
project schedules, budgets, and resource plans
.
Ensure adherence to approved drawings, BOQs, specifications, and contracts.
Coordinate with consultants, architects, contractors, and vendors.
Cost & Budget Control
Monitor project costs and ensure projects are delivered within approved budgets.
Review BOQs, variation orders, and final bills.
Control material consumption and reduce wastage.
Ensure timely certification and processing of RA bills.
Team Management & Leadership
Lead project teams including Engineers, Planning, QA/QC, Safety, and Admin.
Define
roles, responsibilities, and KPIs
for project staff.
Ensure discipline, adherence to hierarchy, and SOP compliance at site.
Conduct regular site reviews and performance evaluations.
Quality, Safety & Compliance
Ensure implementation of
QA/QC systems
and quality benchmarks.
Enforce
safety standards and statutory compliance
(labour laws, safety norms).
Ensure adherence to environmental and local authority regulations.
Address audits, inspections, and corrective actions.
Procurement & Vendor Coordination
Coordinate with Purchase department for timely procurement of materials.
Evaluate vendors, subcontractors, and ensure contract compliance.
Ensure timely material availability as per project schedules.
Client & Management Coordination
Act as the single point of contact for clients and senior management.
Conduct progress review meetings and submit MIS reports.
Highlight risks, delays, and corrective action plans proactively.
Risk Management
Identify project risks related to time, cost, quality, and manpower.
Implement mitigation strategies to avoid delays and cost overruns.
Resolve site-level conflicts and escalations effectively.
Reporting & Documentation
Submit weekly/monthly progress reports, cash flow statements, and forecasts.
Maintain proper documentation for claims, variations, and handover.
Ensure smooth project closure and final handover documentation.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in
Civil Engineering
(mandatory).
Master's degree / PMP certification is an added advantage.
Experience
20-30 years
of experience in construction/project management.
Minimum
Strong leadership and decision-making skills
Expertise in project planning, execution & control
Excellent coordination and negotiation skills
Knowledge of contracts, billing, and claims
Strong understanding of construction SOPs and compliance
Proficient in MS Project / Primavera / ERP systems
