leads the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale projects involving gensets, acoustic enclosures, and noise control solutions. The incumbent will be responsible for end-to-end project management, coordination with cross-functional teams, ensuring timely execution, and maintaining cost efficiency while meeting quality and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Planning & Execution
Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets for genset and its related low side works like electrical panels, mechanical structures and acoustic room treatment projects.
Define project scope, timelines, deliverables, and resource allocation.
Ensure smooth coordination between design, procurement, production, and site execution teams.
2. Site Management & Installation Oversight
Oversee site execution, installation, and commissioning of gensets and acoustic enclosures.
Ensure adherence to engineering drawings, safety protocols, and quality standards.
Monitor project progress and resolve on-site technical and logistical challenges.
3. Client & Stakeholder Management
Liaise with clients, contractors, consultants, and government agencies for project approvals.
Conduct regular project reviews, status updates, and stakeholder meetings.
Ensure customer satisfaction and timely handover of completed projects.
4. Budget & Cost Control
Track project expenditures, cost variances, and financial risks.
Implement cost-saving strategies without compromising on quality.
Manage vendor contracts and negotiate terms for material procurement and subcontracting.
5. Compliance & Risk Management
Ensure projects comply with ISO, CPCB norms, environmental guidelines, and industry regulations.
Identify and mitigate potential project risks, including delays, safety hazards, and technical failures.
Conduct risk assessments and implement contingency plans as needed.
6. Team Leadership & Performance Management
Lead a team of design engineer, project managers, project engineers, site engineers and technicians.
Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and training to enhance team capabilities.
Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Key Requirements:
B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering
15+ years of experience in project management, preferably in gensets, power solutions, acoustic enclosures, or heavy equipment industries.
Proven experience in handling turnkey projects, EPC contracts, and industrial installations.
Strong knowledge of project management tools (Primavera, MS Project) and ERP systems.
Expertise in contract negotiation, budgeting, and cost control.
Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
Preferred Skills:
Experience working with government projects, tenders, and infrastructure developments.
Understanding of acoustic engineering, noise control systems, and power backup solutions.
Certification in PMP, PRINCE2, or Lean Six Sigma is an added advantage.
