The Project Executive supports the end-to-end execution of glass and glazing projects, ensuring timely delivery of processed glass, hardware, and installation services. The role involves coordinating with clients, contractors, production teams, and site teams to maintain accuracy, quality, and compliance with project specifications.
Key Responsibilities Project Coordination
Assist in planning and scheduling glass fabrication, delivery, and installation activities.
Coordinate with production, cutting, tempering, lamination, and IGU teams to ensure correct specifications and timelines.
Track site progress and support project managers in day-to-day execution.
Follow up with suppliers for accessories, hardware, and consumables.
Technical & Documentation Support
Review architectural drawings, shop drawings, BOQs, and glass specifications.
Prepare and maintain project documentation: cutting lists, delivery schedules, QC reports, and installation checklists.
Assist with material take-off (MTO) and quantity verification.
Support in raising RFIs and ensuring technical clarifications from clients/consultants.
Client & Stakeholder Management
Act as a communication link between clients, contractors, consultants, and internal teams.
Attend site meetings and provide updates on production and delivery status.
Resolve basic client concerns and escalate technical issues when needed.
Quality & Safety
Monitor quality of glass, edge polishing, toughening, lamination, and installation work at site.
Ensure adherence to industry standards: thickness, tolerances, flatness, coatings, and safety norms.
Report defects, damages, and delays, and coordinate corrective actions.
Project Financial Support
Assist in budgeting, cost tracking, and monitoring material usage.
Support preparation of invoices, delivery notes, and measurement sheets.
Follow up on approvals for variations or additional work.
Qualifications Education
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
Experience
1-4 years of experience in the glass, facade, glazing, aluminum, or construction industry.
Familiarity with toughened glass, laminated glass, IGU, DGU, coated glass, and hardware systems is highly preferred.
Skills
Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
Strong coordination and communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and basic knowledge of AutoCAD.
Good understanding of fabrication, site activities, and installation workflows.
Problem-solving mindset and ability to work under tight deadlines.
