Job Description


This position of is an essential key to entire Field Services operation and deals with challenges, growth and contributing to a dynamic team. Role is to lead the countrywide team of FS Modernization Project execution & commercial management \xe2\x80\x93 back-office operation covering Field Services \xe2\x80\x93 Modernization & Retrofit projects. This includes augmentation projects & services in Power Services, Secure Power & Industry domains. Position offers direct responsibility of mid-size team of techno-commercial staff comprises of Project Managers, Regional Field Managers, Solution architects, Commercial executives with below key responsibilities -

  • Accountable for Delivering business goals /results \xe2\x80\x93 Revenue, Billing, Project cash flow, shipment plans
  • To deliver high class customer experience through \xe2\x80\x9cNSS Score\xe2\x80\x9d for Execute Project touch point
  • To create & drive annual billing plan, forecast, material & other resource planning
  • To deliver monthly/qrtly/annual revenue plan with
95% accuracy * Implement & ensure \xe2\x80\x9cZero EHS deviation\xe2\x80\x9d policies across Field execution
  • Deliver improved \xe2\x80\x9cAs realized\xe2\x80\x9d profitability of projects by various execution efficiencies
  • Close coordination with ETO factories, Logistics, Supply Chain for ensuring timely shipments, custom clearance coordination
  • Securing financial & taxation governance by ensuring no deviations
  • Participating in CPP gate reviews decisions as Execution \xe2\x80\x93 SME & to secure risk & opportunities, mitigation plans for risk envisaged
  • Setting up seamless internal process - Take over from Tendering, Scheduled Gates review with Site execution, Proper handing over to service warranty team at closure
  • Supporting Sales/Collection team by providing on time documentation & resolving execution related issues in collection
  • Ensure that the baseline documentation is produced, maintained, made available to all parties concerned and effectively used
  • Conducting periodic review with Customer & internally with all regional project managers & respective stakeholders
  • Complete Order to dispatch cycle of Modernization/Retrofit/Digital projects, LV/MV spares part deliveries, Break-fix & recurring services contracts portfolio
  • Liable for identifying actions to avoid, mitigate to reduce the impact by forecasting potential problems like cost overruns, Schedule delays, technical / resource constraints to the Manager
  • Project Management systems and policies review \xe2\x80\x93Development, roll out and Digitization- Project monitoring, Planning, progress reporting and controlling project engineering. Evaluating trends & predicting risks and carryout risk analysis, forecasting and planning.
  • Close coordination with manufacturing plants, vendors to push timely deliveries, accurate monthly shipment/billing plan for Revamp & Retrofit projects
  • Leading, monitoring & coaching the team of regional PMOs for successful projects delivery
  • Managing commercial team for activities like customer invoicing, revenue planning/forecasting, supplier\xe2\x80\x99s payment & other transactions

  • On time, fully EHS complied project execution within the budgeted cost by maximizing the profits at all India level
  • Improvement in Project profitability from As Sold stage by bringing variation orders & cost control
  • Cost Control by minimizing the project risk and delivering high quality standard
  • C-SAT Management for project end user
  • Effective utilization of regional PMO team members by monitoring their performance
  • Support to sales, tendering during pre-order for projects cost estimation at enquiry stage
Qualification
  • Engineering graduate with 15-18 years exposure of services business into Electrical industry with knowledge & exposure to Projects implementation & team management
  • Understanding of Services and project functions and experience of end-to-end project implementation cycles from Pre-bid opportunity assessment to Project Kick-off, Milestone based gate review, Resource Planning & Scheduling, Profitability & risk control
  • Good understanding of business cycle Order to revenue \xe2\x80\x93 cost \xe2\x80\x93 cash flow, Project Management, ERP reporting
  • Decision making, analytical / Negotiation / Communication skills, result oriented, capability to lead a mid-scale team
  • Prior experience of running Customer services or Project business will be preferred
