Estimator

with a background in either signage or metal & glass projects -- and experience using

Salesforce CRM

to support estimation, sales, and project coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

Read and interpret architectural drawings, shop drawings, and bid packages. Prepare detailed estimates including material take-offs, labor hours, and production costs for custom signage or metal/glass systems. Generate accurate and competitive proposals in coordination with sales and engineering teams. Use

Salesforce

to manage leads, track bid status, log activities, and maintain customer records. Request and evaluate supplier/vendor pricing and lead times. Provide value engineering alternatives and support project team with handoff documentation. Collaborate with production and installation teams to confirm feasibility and ensure pricing accuracy.

Requirements:

3+ years of experience in estimating

custom signage

,

metal fabrication

, or

glass systems

. Proficiency with take-off and drawing review tools (e.g., Bluebeam, AutoCAD, or similar).

Hands-on experience with Salesforce

CRM for logging estimates, managing pipelines, and tracking follow-ups. Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and time management. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Bachelor's degree or relevant technical background preferred.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

Knowledge of UL regulations, ADA signage codes, or architectural glass standards. Familiarity with quoting tools and ERP systems. Experience with LED, vinyl, CNC, or waterjet-based signage manufacturing.
