Job Description

A project engineer for HVAC installation and commissioning specifically for clean rooms and AHU (Air Handling Units) is responsible for managing specialized HVAC systems designed to meet strict environmental control requirements.

Specific Responsibilities in Clean Room and AHU Projects

Oversee installation and commissioning of HVAC systems tailored for clean rooms, ensuring air cleanliness, temperature, humidity, and pressure controls meet regulatory standards. Manage installation and functioning of AHUs critical for air filtration, circulation, and maintaining clean room conditions. Coordinate with clean room design engineers, quality assurance teams, and contractors to ensure compliant HVAC system delivery. Conduct thorough testing, balancing, and commissioning of AHUs and clean room HVAC systems to validate performance against specifications. Ensure HVAC systems support clean room classifications (ISO classes) by controlling particulate counts and contamination levels. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to airflow, filtration efficiency, and system integration during commissioning.
Skills and Knowledge Required

Expertise in clean room standards, HVAC systems, and AHU operation specific to contamination-sensitive environments. Knowledge of HVAC controls specific to clean rooms, including sensors, VFDs, and building automation integration. Ability to read and interpret clean room HVAC design drawings and compliance documents. Strong project coordination skills for multidisciplinary teams in clean room construction and commissioning phases.
This role requires combining HVAC technical expertise with an understanding of strict clean room environmental requirements to ensure successful installation and commissioning of AHUs and HVAC systems for contamination control and operational reliability in clean room environments.

Qualifications:



Education

: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field (preferably with experience in HVAC systems, cleanroom technologies).

Experience

: Minimum of 6 years of experience in Project Execution within an

HVAC

and/or

cleanroom

environment, specifically in the Commissioning & Installation of

AHUs

,

ducting

, and

wall panels/doors

for pharmaceutical companies.
