Job Description

Role and responsibility: 1. Project Execution & Site Management

Plan, execute, and monitor water & wastewater treatment projects (ETP, STP, RO, MBR, UF, ZLD). Coordinate site activities including civil, mechanical, piping, electrical, and instrumentation works. Ensure projects are executed as per approved GA drawings, P&ID, BOQ, and technical specifications. Supervise contractors, technicians, and site supervisors to ensure quality workmanship. Monitor daily progress and update project schedules.
2. Design Coordination & Engineering Support

Assist in basic and detailed engineering for treatment plants. Review and coordinate process design, hydraulic calculations, equipment sizing, and layouts. Coordinate with design teams for revisions, site constraints, and execution feasibility. Support preparation and review of P&ID, GA drawings, and as-built drawings.
3. Equipment & Vendor Management

Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for procurement of equipment such as blowers, pumps, membranes, filters, panels, and dosing systems. Verify vendor drawings, datasheets, and compliance with specifications. Track material delivery schedules and ensure timely availability at site. Coordinate installation, alignment, and commissioning of equipment.
4. Installation, Testing & Commissioning

Supervise installation of E&M equipment and piping as per standards. Execute pre-commissioning, testing, and commissioning activities. Support trial runs, performance testing, and stabilization of treatment plants. Ensure treated water quality meets CPCB / KSPCB / client norms. Coordinate with membrane suppliers for MBR/RO commissioning.
5. Quality, Safety & Compliance

Ensure adherence to quality standards, SOPs, and safety practices at site. Implement EHS guidelines and ensure use of PPE by site personnel. Maintain compliance with statutory and client safety requirements. Coordinate with PCB officials, third-party inspectors, and auditors if required.
6. Client Coordination & Reporting

Act as the primary point of contact at site for client engineers and consultants. Attend site meetings, technical discussions, and inspections. Prepare and submit daily/weekly/monthly progress reports. Handle client queries, change requests, and site clarifications professionally.
7. Documentation & Handover

Maintain project documentation including checklists, test reports, manuals, and drawings. Support preparation of O&M manuals and handover documents. Assist in project closure, final punch points clearance, and handover to O&M team.
8. Cost & Schedule Control (Support Role)

Support project manager in monitoring budgets and timelines. Identify risks, delays, and site issues and propose corrective actions. Assist in variation orders, additional works estimation, and justification.
Desired Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of water & wastewater treatment processes. Understanding of ETP/STP/RO/MBR equipment and systems. Ability to read and interpret GA, P&ID, and electrical drawings. Good communication and coordination skills. Willingness to travel and manage multiple sites. Problem-solving and execution-focused mindset.

Pay: ?35,000.00 - ?55,000.00 per month
