Job summary

Responsible for overseeing the engineering aspects of road and highway projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications and timelines and managing the technical teams effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning and Management

: Develop project plans and schedules, monitor progress, and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely completion of road and highway projects.

Design Review and Approval

: Analyze and review road and highway design plans, make recommendations for improvements, and approve designs that meet project specifications and standards.

Site Supervision

: Oversee the on-site engineering activities, ensuring the work is carried out according to the approved designs and complies with safety and quality standards.

Resource Management

: Manage the allocation and use of resources including labor, materials, and equipment to optimize project efficiency.

Technical Support and Problem Solving

: Provide technical expertise and support to resolve engineering challenges and ensure project deliverables are met.

Software Proficiency

: Civil 3D, AutoCAD
Key Requirements

Experience

: 5-10 years of experience in project engineering within the roads and highways sector.

Education

: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (B.Tech/B.E.) or a relevant field.
Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management Proven track record of successfully managing road and highway projects
