Position Overview

The

Site Engineer

will oversee end-to-end site execution for steel building erection, sheeting, and related civil interfaces.The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in industrial construction or PEB projects, strong leadership in managing contractors, and strict adherence to quality, safety, and timeline standards.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and coordinate

site erection, bed-bolt fixing, sheeting, and finishing/CIVIL CONSTRUCTION

as per approved drawings.

Conduct

pre-site inspections

- verify location, coordinate with surveyor, and collect approval forms.

Supervise

bed-bolt (B.B.) fixing

, template alignment, and measurement verification.

Prepare manpower, machinery, and material checklists (5 M Method - Man, Machine, Material, Method, Money).

Manage contractor activities: obtain quotations, finalize time frames, and monitor progress against schedule.

Ensure

digital surveys, leveling, and alignment

are done within tolerance limits.

Oversee

material dispatch

,

unloading

, and

storage compliance

(minimum 4" above floor).

Verify

roof sheet and cladding installation

,

gutter fitting

,

RWP alignment

, and

flashings/louvers

per design.

Conduct daily toolbox and safety meetings; record attendance and site photos in ERP / WhatsApp group.

Perform

quality checks

, maintain

site checklist

, and obtain

customer feedback forms

.

Report deviations or design mismatches immediately to Project Head / MD.

Submit final checklists, feedback, and contractor forms for payment release.

Required Skills and Competencies

Strong understanding of CIVIL/

PEB structure erection

,

sheet laying

, and

QA/QC standards

.

Knowledge of

construction drawings

,

BOM

, and

survey equipment

(Total Station / Auto Level).

Proficiency in Prepare Estimations/

MS Office / Google Sheets / ERP entry

for reporting.

Good communication in

Tamil and English

; ability to coordinate with clients and workers.

Hands-on problem-solving and site-level decision-making ability.

Adherence to

Infra Green's safety, quality, and discipline policies

Qualification & Experience

Diploma / B.E. in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.

Minimum 3-5 years' experience in

PEB / Industrial Building Projects/CIVIL INDUSTRIAL PROECTS

Freshers with strong technical aptitude and willingness to travel may also apply.

Benefits

Salary: ₹20,000 - ?35,000 / month (negotiable based on experience)

Site allowance + travel reimbursement + performance bonus
