Job Description

Job Role: Project Engineer (Civil)Primary Objective:

To coordinate and manage civil engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Scheduling:

Develop and maintain project schedules. Assist in preparing project budgets and estimates. Coordinate with architects, designers, and other engineers.

Site Management:

Monitor on-site activities to ensure adherence to design, safety, and quality standards. Supervise contractors, subcontractors, and labor teams. Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings.

Technical Support:

Provide technical guidance to site staff and resolve construction issues. Review drawings, blueprints, and specifications. Ensure materials and construction methods meet project requirements.

Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain daily reports, site diaries, and documentation of construction progress. Report on deviations from schedule or budget. Ensure compliance with local regulations and permits.

Quality and Safety Assurance:

Enforce quality control procedures. Ensure implementation of health and safety protocols on-site.

Coordination and Communication:

Liaise with clients, consultants, and suppliers. Ensure smooth communication between all stakeholders.

Key Skills Required:

Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles. Familiarity with construction methods, materials, and legal regulations. Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera). Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Problem-solving and decision-making ability.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (B.Tech/B.E. Civil). Experience in construction or infrastructure projects (typically 2-5+ years depending on the role).

Pay: ?35,000.00 - ?45,000.00 per month
