The Project Engineer (Electrical) will be responsible for planning, execution, and coordination of electrical projects within the manufacturing environment. The role involves project scheduling, technical coordination, vendor interaction, and ensuring timely project completion with quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, execute, and monitor electrical projects from initiation to completion
Prepare project schedules, work plans, and progress reports
Coordinate with production, design, purchase, and site teams
Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems
Ensure compliance with electrical standards, safety norms, and quality requirements
Handle project documentation including BOQ, drawings, and technical reports
Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and suppliers for timely material delivery
Troubleshoot technical issues during project execution
Monitor project costs and assist in budget control
Support audits, inspections, and handover activities
Technical Skills Required:
Knowledge of LT/HT panels, control panels, MCC, PCC
Understanding of industrial electrical systems and automation basics
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
Familiarity with project management tools and MS Office
Basic knowledge of PLC/SCADA (added advantage)
Soft Skills:
Good communication and coordination skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Willingness to travel to project sites if required
Preferred Candidate Profile:
Experience in manufacturing or industrial project execution
Exposure to electrical installation, testing, and commissioning
