We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled engineer with strong multidisciplinary expertise to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a solid engineering foundation, advanced CAD proficiency, and practical experience in laser projection or machine vision systems. This role involves design, integration, and support of advanced engineering solutions, with responsibilities spanning project execution, cross-functional collaboration, and customer-facing installations.
Key Responsibilities
Design & Engineering
: Develop, model, and validate mechanical/electrical systems using CAD tools such as SolidWorks.
System Integration
: Support integration of laser projection, optics, and machine vision technologies into manufacturing and automation processes.
Programming/Scripting
: Apply basic to intermediate programming or scripting skills for automation, customization, and process improvements.
Project Execution
: Lead and support project activities, including planning, installation, and commissioning at customer sites.
Technical Communication
: Prepare technical documentation, presentations, and reports for internal stakeholders and customers.
Collaboration
: Work closely with cross-functional teams (mechanical, electrical, manufacturing, and software) to deliver integrated solutions.
Travel & Support
: Provide on-site technical support, training, and troubleshooting at customer facilities (regional travel ~40-50%).
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, Computer, or related discipline).
Technical Skills
Strong multidisciplinary technical aptitude across mechanical, electrical, and manufacturing domains.
Advanced CAD proficiency (SolidWorks or similar tools).
Basic to intermediate programming/scripting skills.
Knowledge of optics and laser fundamentals, including system design and safety.
Experience with laser projection and/or machine vision applications.
Familiarity with simulation and automation tools (desirable).
Professional Skills
Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Flexibility to travel regionally (?40-50%).
Leadership and project management experience (essential for senior positions).
