Experience

5-7 years of proven experience as a Project Engineer in

Control Panel Design and Manufacturing

, preferably with

Siemens hardware

.

Qualification

Diploma in Electrical Engineering / B.E. (Electrical) with all semesters completed. Specialization in

Electrical / Instrumentation Engineering

preferred.

Technical Skills & Competencies

Design - EPLAN / AutoCAD

Strong knowledge of Electrical fundamentals, design concepts, and engineering aspects of selected products. Ability to read and develop

single-line diagrams (SLD)

,

three-line electrical circuits

, and

layouts

with bill of materials. Proficient in design and engineering of

PLC, Drives, Automation Systems, MCC, and PCC Panels

with

Siemens / ABB make

.

Project Monitoring

Conduct internal and client

kick-off meetings

. Prepare

A-class (long lead) high-value items

list and ensure procurement clearance from client. Ensure

timely delivery

of projects within budget and technical requirements. Monitor and control project cost in line with estimated project cost sheets. Arrange and conclude

final project inspections

with minutes of meeting. Handle

scope changes / amendments

with proper client approvals. Ensure

timely collection of payments

from clients.

Estimation (Design-based)

Interpret

control panel enquiries

and electrical drawings received from clients. Derive system design SLD, configuration, and prepare accurate cost estimates. Coordinate with

clients and sales teams

for enquiry finalization. Hands-on experience with

PLC, Drives, Automation Systems, MCC, PCC panels

(Siemens / ABB). Tendering estimation experience will be considered an added advantage.

Other Skills

Proficiency in

MS Excel & Advanced Excel

Role Expectations

Ensure

timely completion of projects

and compliance with client requirements. Maintain

daily reporting

and progress tracking. Coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution. Contribute to continuous process improvement and cost efficiency in project delivery.
