Note:

Candidates with prior experience in the ETP (Effluent Treatment Plant) and WTP (Water Treatment Plant) sectors will be strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in planning, scheduling, and executing ETP and WTP projects in line with client specifications and timelines. Perform equipment sizing and selection (e.g., pumps, blowers, tanks, filters, clarifiers, dosing systems) based on flow rate, pressure, and treatment objectives. Interpret and apply P&IDs, GA drawings, and piping layouts. Support both basic and detailed engineering for mechanical and piping components. Prepare technical specifications, datasheets, and Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for procurement. Evaluate and finalize equipment suppliers based on technical performance, cost-efficiency, and delivery timelines. Review vendor documentation in line with CTS and prepare detailed equipment datasheets. Coordinate with clients, consultants, and internal teams for project updates and technical clarifications. Supervise site activities, including coordination of civil works, equipment erection, installation, and commissioning. Maintain comprehensive project documentation including Daily/Monthly Progress Reports (DPRs/MPRs), installation checklists, inspection reports, and O&M manuals. Liaise with vendors to ensure timely supply of equipment and consumables.

Required Skills:

Strong understanding of ETP/WTP processes (e.g., primary/secondary/tertiary treatment, RO, UF, clarifiers, aeration). Expertise in equipment selection, hydraulic calculations, and sizing. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and BOQs. Proficiency in basic project planning tools (e.g., MS Project, Excel). Practical experience in site supervision and vendor coordination. Familiarity with pumps, valves, pipelines, and related mechanical systems. Capability to engage in technical discussions with consultants/clients and resolve on-site issues. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Willingness to travel and stay at project sites when required.

Education:

B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in industrial or municipal water and wastewater projects. Familiarity with tender documentation, cost estimation, and client billing. Knowledge of ISO standards and EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) practices in project execution. Working knowledge of relevant IS, ASTM, or international engineering standards.
