Project Engineer - Infrastructure (Roads, Bridges, Buildings)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented

Project Engineer

to oversee and manage infrastructure projects, including

roads, bridges, and buildings

. The ideal candidate will support project planning, execution, quality assurance, and timely delivery while ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:1. Project Planning & Coordination

Assist in the preparation of project plans, schedules, and budgets. Coordinate with design teams, consultants, contractors, and site staff. Monitor progress and ensure alignment with project timelines and specifications.

2. Site Supervision & Execution

Supervise on-site activities, ensuring work is executed as per approved drawings and specifications. Monitor construction activities and resolve technical issues in a timely manner. Maintain daily site reports and documentation.

3. Quality Control

Ensure quality of materials and workmanship meets specified standards. Conduct regular inspections and audits of ongoing work. Assist in the implementation of quality assurance procedures.

4. Safety & Compliance

Enforce safety procedures and guidelines as per statutory norms. Coordinate with safety officers to ensure safe working conditions on-site. Ensure compliance with environmental and legal regulations.

5. Vendor & Subcontractor Management

Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to ensure timely supply of materials and services. Review and verify work progress for billing and payment certification.

6. Documentation & Reporting

Prepare technical reports, progress reports, and MIS updates. Maintain project documentation including drawings, approvals, test reports, and correspondences.

Required Qualifications:

Education:

B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)

Experience:

3-6 years of experience in infrastructure projects (roads, bridges, buildings)

Certifications:

Site safety training, PMP (preferred)

Key Skills:

Strong knowledge of civil engineering practices and standards Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, and other project management tools Good understanding of construction methods and materials Excellent communication and coordination skills Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Work Conditions:

Must be willing to work at construction sites May require travel between multiple project locations Working in varied weather and site conditions

Pay: From ?40,000.00 per month
