Job Description

1. Manpower Handling

Allocate daily work to operators based on production plans.

Monitor worker performance and provide guidance or training where needed.

Ensure discipline, safety, and morale on the shop floor.

2. Customer Coordination (Project-wise)

Coordinate with customers and internal departments to understand project-specific

requirements.

Ensure mely updates and communicaion on production status.

Anend project review meetings and address customer concerns.

3. Documentation

Maintain production logs, inspection reports, and daily shi reports.

Prepare and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.

Ensure compliance with ISO / quality system documentation.

4. Report Generation

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports.

Generate downtime analysis, production efficiency, and quality reports.

Track and report rework, rejection, and scrap data.

5. Employees' Piece Rate Monitoring

Monitor and record employee output as per piece rate norms.

Verify and report production against targets.

Assist in wage calculation based on piece-rate productivity.

6. OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) Calcula
on

Collect data on availability, performance, and quality.

Analyse machine downtime, speed loss, and defect rates.

Present OEE reports to management for improvement initiatives.

7. Work Report as per Cycle Time

Track production against standard cycle times.

Identify boelenecks or delays in the production process.

Ensure adherence to ome standards to meet delivery timelines.

8. Production & Quality Supervision

Ensure adherence to quality standards during fabrication operations like shearing,

bending, punching, welding, etc.

Collaborate with QC and maintenance teams for smooth operations.

9. 5S and Safety Implementation

Maintain clean and organized work areas as per 5S practices.

Ensure all safety measures and PPE usage by staff.

Skills & Qualifications Required:


Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or Production Engineering.


1-5 years of experience in sheet metal fabrication industry.


Knowledge of fabrication processes (laser cu
ng, punching, bending, welding).


Hands-on experience with manpower handling and supervision.


Familiarity with production planning tools and ERP systems.


Good MS Excel skills for reporting and data analysis.


Basic understanding of OEE, 5S, and lean manufacturing concepts.


Strong communication and coordination skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
