Job Title: Project Engineer- Construction Coatings Division
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Project Engineer to be a part of our
Construction Coatings Division. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and executing multifunctional projects, managing project teams, ensuring budget adherence, and implementing systems for long-term success.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Develop detailed project plans, including scope, goals, deliverables, resource allocation, timelines, and budgets.
Work closely with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure all aspects of the project are aligned and progressing smoothly.
Provide engineering expertise and technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
Maintain thorough documentation of project activities, including plans, designs, reports, and updates.
Monitor project costs, manage budgets, and report on financial status.
Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
Ensure all project activities meet or exceed industry standards, regulations, and company quality guidelines.
Regularly update stakeholders on project progress, challenges, and changes in scope.
Address technical issues and project challenges, providing solutions to keep the project on track.
Have a thorough knowledge of various coating technologies for waterproofing, corrosion protection, floor coatings and for similar applications of coatings in various real estate and infrastructure projects
Qualifications:
Experience:
A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in the fields of
Waterproofing, Anticorrosion Coatings or Floor coatings is essential. The candidate should have a proven track record of successful project execution or project management within these industries.
Educational Background:
A degree in Civil Engineering is mandatory for this role. This educational qualification ensures a strong foundation in construction principles, engineering concepts, and project management skills.
Location Requirement:
The candidate must be willing and able to relocate to Pune, as the role demands a physical presence to effectively manage and oversee projects in the Construction Coatings Division.
Communication Skills:
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are crucial. The
Operations Manager will be required to interact with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders. Clear and effective communication is essential for project success.
Problem-Solving and Leadership Skills:
Strong problem-solving skills are vital for addressing challenges that may arise during project execution. Leadership skills are equally important to guide and motivate project teams towards successful outcomes.
Project Management Skills:
Proficiency in project planning, execution, risk management, and conflict resolution is required. The candidate should have a deep understanding of project management methodologies and tools to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
