Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled
MEP Engineer
with strong experience in
CPWD projects
to manage mechanical, electrical, and plumbing works as per government standards. The candidate will be responsible for supervising site activities, ensuring compliance with CPWD norms, coordinating with contractors, and delivering work as per approved drawings and specifications.
Key Responsibilities1. MEP Site Execution & Supervision
Execute and supervise
MEP works
(HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, fire-fighting, drainage, etc.).
Ensure work is carried out as per
CPWD specifications
, BOQ, and approved drawings.
Review and coordinate
MEP shop drawings, GFC drawings
, and site layouts.
Monitor daily progress and ensure timely completion of activities.
2. CPWD Standards & Compliance
Ensure all works strictly follow
CPWD guidelines, DSR rates, specifications, and contractual norms
.
Prepare and verify
measurement sheets
, RA bills, and supporting documents as per CPWD format.
Maintain compliance with safety protocols and quality assurance procedures.
3. Coordination & Technical Support
Coordinate with civil teams, vendors, consultants, and government representatives.
Attend CPWD meetings for progress updates, technical discussions, and inspections.
Resolve technical issues at site and escalate when required.
4. Material Management
Verify materials delivered to the site as per BOQ and quality standards.
Raise indent requests and ensure availability of MEP materials and tools.
Maintain proper documentation of material consumption and reconciliation.
5. Testing & Commissioning
Oversee
testing and commissioning
of MEP systems.
Prepare reports and ensure successful handover with complete documentation.
Required Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of
MEP systems
(HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire-fighting).
Good understanding of
CPWD specifications, DSR, contract conditions, and billing formats
.
Ability to read, interpret, and execute complex technical drawings.
Strong site coordination, manpower management, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD (preferred), and measurement documentation.
Strong communication skills for interacting with clients, consultants, and CPWD officials.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ?255,550.49 - ?400,000.00 per year
