Assist in daily site supervision and ensure all civil works follow approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams to maintain smooth workflow and resolve technical issues.
Monitor construction progress, track daily activities, and ensure work is completed according to schedule.
Technical & Engineering Support
Review structural and architectural drawings; raise RFIs (Requests for Information) for any discrepancies.
Support quality control activities, including material testing, inspection of formwork, reinforcement, concrete pours, earthworks, and finishing works.
Verify and approve materials delivered on-site to ensure compliance with standards.
Documentation & Compliance
Prepare daily site reports, progress updates, and technical documentation.
Maintain records related to work inspections, material submittals, method statements, and shop drawings.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and local building codes.
Planning & Cost Control
Assist in preparing project schedules, work breakdown structures (WBS), and manpower/material plans.
Monitor quantities and verify subcontractor work for billing, measurements, and progress claims.
Support cost-control efforts and identify potential delays or variations.
Coordination & Communication
Attend site meetings with consultants, clients, and subcontractors.
Communicate technical requirements and instructions clearly to site teams.
Collaborate with project management to resolve technical challenges and implement corrective actions.
QualificationsEducation & Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
4-5 years of experience in civil construction projects
Skills
Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, site execution, and construction methodologies.
Ability to read and interpret civil, structural, and architectural drawings.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project/Primavera, and MS Office.
Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
Knowledge of local construction codes, safety standards, and quality procedures.
