We currently have an immediate need for a Project Engineer, for Gurgaon, India.
About the Role: The primary purpose of this position is to work closely with the customer (Bharti Airtel), Project Manager, and field installation teams to ensure projects are completed according to project plans. Other duties will include project planning, implementation, troubleshooting, and monitoring. Also prepares project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
Responsibilities:

• Project coordination and supervision of assigned region, including project delivery, acceptance, troubleshooting, and revenue recognition related support.
• Provide support to subcontractor teams in the implementation of the project.
• Project coordination with Airtel proponents and Aviat Project Team.
• Coordination and supervision of logistics
• Support in troubleshooting activities and other technical related concerns

• Supervise subcontractor teams to make sure that all installations follow Airtel and Aviat Engineering Standards.
• Provide weekly progress report to Project Management Team
• Escalate issues, keep informed, advise and receive instructions and obtain the work group perspective and share information
• Deliver the projects and work on it within the target timelines.
• Airtel Bharti Project Proponents coordination and project management.

Qualifications & Competencies:

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field; Masters degree preferred.
• Proven experience 5+ years in planning, designing, and executing microwave deployment projects, ideally within the telecommunications or network infrastructure sectors.
• Strong understanding of microwave communication principles, RF engineering, and microwave equipment (antennas, radios, waveguides, etc.).
• Proficiency in microwave path design tools (Pathloss, iBwave), spectrum analyzers, and network analyzers.
• Experience with project management methodologies and tools (e.g., PMI, Agile, MS Project, Primavera).
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is a plus.
• Willing to work extended hours
