? Purpose of Position

The job incumbent is responsible for Quality Assurance & Quality Control of the construction

works at different stages.

The position performs in line with the Bureau Veritas Quality Assurance System, including the

BV Code of Ethics and the BV Group policy.

? Major Responsibilities

Should handle finishing works in the assigned projects. Coordinates program activities design to manage high end floor finishes, joinery works, wall

finishes, facades, structural glazing, wall claddings, interior works, etc. from conceptual stage

through life cycle of project.

Develops and implements program activities, coordinates efforts of contractors, subcontractors

and consultants and resolves problems in area of finishings to ensure meeting of contractual

commitments.

Monitor performance of contractors and suppliers. To implement and ensure maintenance of quality management systems for projects. To carry out technical supervision of ongoing Civil & Finishing work at all stages. Guide / Instruct Junior engineer / Supervisor to prepare required fields and reports pertaining to

project.

To check the quality of all the materials received on site and prepare quality reports, defects, if

any.

To check the stacking and storage of materials in various go downs and stores of the site with Neatness. To coordinate testing of materials wherever applicable and ensure specified quality standards

are adhered to.

To coordinate with different contractors and agencies to maintain and improve quality of

construction work.

To prepare MIS on monthly basis, monthly consumption reports, daily progress report, etc.

?Qualification, Experience & Technical Knowledge

Degree in Civil Engineering with minimum experience of 8 years in Finishing Works

?Skills & Qualities:

-Should be proficient in basic Computer Applications- MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Should have fair knowledge in Civil Engineering software packages like Autocad, Revit & any other. Should have good communication skills. * Should be able to communicate in Hindi, English, Telugu
