in the Machinery Manufacturing Sector, you will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and monitoring projects from initiation to delivery. This role requires strong knowledge of project management methodologies, design interpretation, and coordination skills to ensure that projects are executed within timelines, budget, and quality standards. You will collaborate with design, production, procurement, and quality teams to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Planning & Scheduling
Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to delivery schedules.
Revise schedules as necessary to accommodate delays or design changes.
2. Design & Technical Coordination
Review technical drawings and ensure alignment with project requirements.
Collaborate with design and engineering teams to identify potential challenges early.
Provide inputs for design modifications to improve manufacturability and execution efficiency.
3. Resource & Cost Management
Coordinate with procurement and production teams for material availability.
Track project budgets and control costs to avoid overruns.
Ensure optimum utilization of manpower and equipment.
4. Cross-Functional Coordination
Act as the central point of contact between design, production, QC, procurement, and clients.
Conduct regular review meetings to update stakeholders on project status.
Escalate critical issues to management with suggested corrective actions.
5. Monitoring & Reporting
Track project performance against schedules and KPIs.
Maintain accurate project documentation including timelines, progress reports, and design revisions.
Prepare weekly/monthly progress reports for management and clients.
6. Risk Management & Problem Solving
Identify risks and bottlenecks in project execution.
Implement corrective/preventive actions to minimize project delays.
Support technical troubleshooting in coordination with design and production teams.
7. Compliance & Quality
Ensure project execution adheres to quality standards and regulatory requirements.
Coordinate inspections and ensure all client specifications are met.
Requirements:
Bachelor's/Diploma in Mechanical/Production/Industrial Engineering.
Proven experience in
project planning within the machinery manufacturing sector
(preferably Pharma/API machinery).
Ability to read, interpret, and coordinate on design drawings (CAD knowledge preferred).
