The Project Engineer will be responsible for execution, supervision, and measurement of civil works at site. The role requires expertise in
surveying using Total Station
, site management, and coordination with the Planning Engineer for schedules, drawings, and progress monitoring. The Project Engineer will act as the bridge between site execution and planning to ensure quality, timely delivery, and compliance with project standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesSurveying & Layout
Operate
Total Station, Auto Level, and other surveying instruments
for site setting out, alignment, leveling, and measurements.
Prepare
as-built drawings, measurement sheets, and quantity verification
.
Ensure layout accuracy for foundations, structures, and finishing works.
Conduct periodic surveys to monitor progress and deviations from approved drawings.
Project Execution
Supervise day-to-day civil activities to ensure work is executed as per drawings, specifications, and safety norms.
Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and subcontractors for smooth workflow.
Monitor manpower, material usage, and equipment deployment.
Ensure compliance with IS codes, CPWD specifications, and client requirements.
Check quality of concrete, shuttering, reinforcement, and finishing works.
Coordination with Planning Engineer
Provide
daily and weekly site data
(measurements, progress, manpower, material consumption) to the Planning Engineer for updating schedules.
Assist Planning Engineer in preparing
progress reports, bar charts, and delay analysis
with accurate site inputs.
Cross-check work fronts and upcoming activities with planning schedules to avoid bottlenecks.
Participate in coordination meetings to align site execution with planned timelines.
Monitoring & Reporting
Prepare
daily progress reports (DPR), measurement books, and checklists
.
Verify contractor RA bills with actual site measurements.
Report deviations, site issues, and delays to Project Manager and Planning Engineer.
Ensure proper documentation of site activities, survey data, and drawing revisions.
Quality & Safety
Implement and monitor quality control measures at site.
Ensure all works comply with
safety protocols
and statutory regulations.
Identify and rectify technical/site discrepancies in consultation with the Planning Engineer.
Skills & Requirements
Bachelor's/Diploma in Civil Engineering.
Hands-on expertise in
Total Station, Auto Level, and surveying techniques
.
Working knowledge of AutoCAD (for measurement drawings, layouts).
Ability to read and interpret architectural/structural drawings.
Strong knowledge of civil execution methods, materials, and IS/CPWD standards.
Good communication and coordination skills for working with planning and site teams.
Willingness to work at site and handle multi-disciplinary tasks.

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹450,000.00 per year
