ROLE OVERVIEW

The Project Engineer - Civil role is essential to ensure effective site execution, quality control, and timely project delivery. This position bridges the gap between project planning and on-site implementation, minimizes execution errors, improves coordination among stakeholders, and ensures that project objectives related to safety, cost, quality, and schedule are consistently achieved.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Supervise and coordinate all on-site civil construction activities.
2. Ensure execution as per approved drawings, BOQ, and technical specifications.
3. Monitor project progress and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
4. Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and internal teams.
5. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
6. Check and verify measurements, quantities, and work completion for billing purposes.
7. Identify site issues and propose corrective and preventive actions.
8. Support project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
9. Ensure proper documentation of drawings, approvals, and site records.
10. Assist in project handover and close-out activities.

KEY SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

1. Strong knowledge of civil construction practices and standards.
2. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
3. Proficiency in MS Office and basic project documentation.
4. Good communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
5. Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability.
6. Willingness to work at project sites.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?30,000.00 - ?35,000.00 per month
