Project Engineer

Position: Highway / Civil Engineer (Roads & Bridges)

Experience: Minimum 2-10 years (as applicable)

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and manage construction activities related to roads, highways, and bridge works as per project specifications.

Monitor daily site progress including earthwork, GSB, WMM, DBM, BC, and structural work.

Coordinate with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure smooth execution of the project.

Review and interpret drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications for civil works.

Ensure proper quality control, material testing, and adherence to safety standards.

Manage and guide site engineers, surveyors, operators, and labor teams for timely completion of targets.

Prepare daily progress reports (DPR), quantity calculations, and billing measurements.

Assist in planning, scheduling, and resource allocation for ongoing site activities.

Handle issues related to road compaction, drainage, culverts, and bridge foundation work.

Maintain records for machinery utilization, manpower deployment, and material consumption

Assist in planning and execution of engineering projects. Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal teams. Prepare and review project drawings, designs, and documentation. Monitor project progress and generate reports on performance, cost, and schedule. Conduct technical assessments and risk evaluations. Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company procedures. Support site execution teams with technical solutions and clarifications. Maintain project documentation and records. Participate in client meetings and provide technical support.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in CIVIL Engineering /Degree/Diploma

Proficient in project management tools and CAD software (AutoCAD, MS Project, etc.).

Good understanding of industry codes, safety standards, and quality procedures.
