About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Manager / Delivery Manager to lead the delivery of our innovative digital solutions in the exciting sports technology domain. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with a proven track record of managing technical projects, mentoring teams, and building robust processes from the ground up. You will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of websites, mobile applications, integrating gaming solutions, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

End-to-End Project Delivery:

Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex technical projects across various platforms (Java, .NET, Android, iOS, CMS) for a diverse portfolio of small and large clients.

Process Implementation & Improvement

: Champion a culture of continuous improvement and process oriented delivery.

Agile & Scrum Leadership:

Drive project execution using Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban). Lead all Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, ensuring adherence to best practices.

Team Leadership & Mentoring:

Lead by example, fostering a collaborative environment and getting involved in day-to-day activities to guide the team and remove impediments.

Client & Stakeholder Management:

Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, expertly managing expectations, providing transparent communication, and building strong, long-lasting relationships.

Risk & Quality Management:

Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks. Oversee the entire QA and release management process to ensure the delivery of high-quality, bug-free products.

Planning & Estimation:

Facilitate project planning, develop detailed project roadmaps, and lead estimation activities to ensure accurate forecasting and resource allocation.

Background and Experience

Experience

: 4-6 years of progressive experience in a Project Management or Delivery Management role.

Domain Expertise

: Proven experience managing projects for clients in diverse domains, with a strong preference for the sports or gaming industries. Methodology Proficiency: Deep, hands-on knowledge of project management frameworks including Agile (Scrum, Kanban) and Waterfall.

Technical Acumen:

Experience successfully delivering technical projects built with technologies like Java, .NET, Android, and iOS, as well as projects involving Content Management Systems (CMS).

Tooling

: High proficiency with project management software such as JIRA, Confluence, Trello, Miro, and MS Project (MPP).

Leadership

: Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams, manage delivery, and implement processes effectively.

Soft Skills

: Exceptional client-facing communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities. You must be a process-oriented thinker with a strong problem-solving mindset.
