The Project Co-ordinator plays a critical role in supporting the planning, execution, and delivery of electronic security projects. This role involves close coordination with clients, suppliers, technicians, and internal teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and possesses a strong understanding of project coordination in the security or technology sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist Project Manager in planning and executing electronic security system installations and upgrades.
Coordinate schedules, resources, equipment, and information between internal teams and external stakeholders.
Monitor project progress and handle any issues that arise to avoid project delays.
Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans, and reports.
Track deliverables and ensure timely procurement and delivery of project materials.
Liaise with clients to identify and define project requirements, scope, and objectives.
Assist in risk management and change control processes.
Schedule and support on-site technicians, subcontractors, and service teams.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
Provide administrative support including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and maintaining records.
Support the financial management of projects including budgeting, invoicing, and cost tracking.
Required Qualifications:
Proven experience as a project co-ordinator, administrator, or similar role (preferably in the electronic security, construction, or technical services sector).
Strong knowledge of electronic security systems (CCTV, access control, Intrusion alarm, Fire alarms system, etc.) is a strong advantage.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and project management tools.
Ability to multitask and meet deadlines under pressure.
High attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Valid driver's license may be required for site visits.
Preferred Qualifications:
Diploma/Degree in Project Management, Engineering, Electrical, or a related field.
Project Management certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are a plus.
Experience working with AutoCAD or security design software is beneficial.
