Founded in May 2011 and officially registered under the West Bengal Registration Act in December 2011, CWF integrates diverse social issues such as disability rights, LGBTIQ rights, healthcare, child rights, and sports. CWF focuses on advocacy, research, and organizing initiatives like promoting Paralympics, addressing disability accessibility in education, and campaigning for healthcare equity for marginalized communities, including transgender individuals. The organization is committed to creating a positive impact for underrepresented groups through active community projects and research efforts.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Kolkata and Bolpur Sriniketan for a dedicated Project Coordinator. The Project Coordinator will oversee the planning, implementation, and monitoring of various social development projects. Key responsibilities include managing project timelines, coordinating with team members and stakeholders, preparing progress reports, organizing events, and ensuring effective communication. The role requires a high level of organizational skills, collaboration, and commitment to the organization's mission of fostering social equity and inclusion.

Qualifications

Candidates with a Master's degree in social work are welcome to apply Prior experience of 1 year in an NGO or social sector role is advantageous Strong project management, organizational, and coordination skills Proficiency in effective communication, teamwork, and stakeholder management Experience in social advocacy, research, and community development Ability to execute programs and events focused on social issues, with a commitment to equity and inclusion Proficiency in using standard office software; familiarity with data management tools is preferred

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: ₹19,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
