Job Purpose
To oversee and coordinate multiple (2-3) construction projects simultaneously, ensuring efficient execution, cost control, adherence to schedule, quality, and safety standards while serving as the key link between site teams, consultants, clients, and management.
Key Responsibilities
o Coordinate all project activities across assigned sites from planning to handover stages.
o Work closely with Project Managers, Site Engineers, and Contractors to ensure timely project execution.
o Prepare, monitor, and update project schedules, progress reports, and milestone tracking for all sites.
o Ensure effective coordination between design, procurement, execution, and quality teams.
o Review project drawings, technical documents, and ensure work is executed per approved specifications and standards.
o Oversee resource allocation (manpower, materials, machinery) across multiple projects for optimal utilization.
o Conduct periodic project review meetings with site teams and management.
o Identify project risks, delays, and bottlenecks; take corrective measures to maintain project timelines.
o Coordinate with clients, consultants, and statutory bodies for approvals, inspections, and documentation.
o Support in budget preparation, cost monitoring, and ensuring adherence to approved budgets.
o Ensure strict compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards at all project sites.
o Guide, mentor, and evaluate site teams for performance and productivity improvement.
Qualifications & Experience
o Qualification: B.E / B.Tech in Civil Engineering (Diploma with extensive experience may also be considered).
o Experience: Minimum 15 years in civil construction project coordination / execution.
o Industry: Building Construction / Commercial / Residential / Infrastructure Projects.
o Exposure: Should have handled multiple mid to large-scale projects independently.
Skills & Competencies
o Strong leadership, coordination, and team management skills.
o Proficiency in MS Project / Primavera and Excel-based project tracking.
o Sound technical knowledge of civil construction methods, materials, and quality standards.
o Excellent communication and client-handling skills.
o Ability to travel frequently and manage multi-location project operations.
o Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
