We are looking for both freshers and experienced candidates to join our technical support team. As a Site Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing on-site and remote support for RFID systems, including tunnels, antennas, PLCs, readers, and anti-theft detection systems. This role combines hands-on fieldwork with technical troubleshooting, client communication, and documentation tasks. You'll collaborate closely with store support teams, senior engineers, and other departments to ensure timely and high-quality support for enterprise clients.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Support: Respond to support queries via phone, email, WhatsApp, and live chat in a timely and professional manner.
On-site Technical Support: Install, maintain, and troubleshoot RFID systems and related hardware/software at client locations. POS (Point of Sale)
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues related to RFID equipment, software, PLCs, and network connectivity.
Client Interaction: Understand client issues, provide clear resolutions, and escalate complex problems when necessary.
Documentation: Maintain detailed records of support activities, site visits, installation notes, and technical issues.
Training & Guidance: Train end-users on operating RFID systems and performing daily checks.
Collaboration: Coordinate with internal engineering teams and external vendors for escalations and hardware/software fixes.
Reporting: Prepare support reports, system logs, and site visit summaries using MS Excel and Word.
Qualification:
Education:
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electronics & Telecommunication, Computer Science, or a related field.
Technical Skills:
Basic understanding of RFID technology and related hardware.
Familiarity with Linux command-line tools and system logs.
Networking basics (IP configuration, ping, LAN, switches/routers).
Knowledge of anti-theft detection systems is a plus.
Soft Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
Documentation:
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and general documentation.
Work Environment:
Willingness to travel to client sites for installation and support.
Ability to work independently as well as within a team.
PREFERRED ATTRIBUTES
Prior experience in RFID, automation, or hardware support (internships or projects acceptable for freshers).
Enthusiastic about learning new technologies and systems.
Comfortable working in field-based roles and interacting with clients directly.
