Role Overview



The Project Coordinator will be responsible for planning, implementing, and monitoring healthcare initiatives in Meghalaya, focus on Maternal health initiatives. The role involves coordinating with internal teams, local stakeholders, and external partners to ensure smooth execution of projects aligned with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities



Project Planning & Execution:

Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and deliverables for healthcare programs.

Stakeholder Coordination:

Liaise with community leaders, government bodies, and partner organizations for effective implementation.

Monitoring & Reporting:

Track project progress, prepare status reports, and ensure compliance with timelines and budgets.

Team Support:

Assist field teams with operational challenges and provide guidance for day-to-day activities.

Data Management:

Collect and analyze project-related data to measure impact and suggest improvements.

Risk Management:

Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies.

Required Skills & Qualifications



Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Social Work, Management, or related field. 2-4 years / 1-3 years of experience in project coordination, preferably in healthcare or community development.
Good understanding of maternal health interventions and community health initiatives.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in rural/remote settings and travel as required.
Ability to design and facilitate questionnaires, interviews, and focus-group discussions.

Proficiency in MS Office and basic project management tools. Ensuring effective use of digital platforms such as Microsoft Teams and WHIMS for project collaboration and reporting.

Preferred Attributes



Knowledge of local language and culture.
Experience in handling multi-stakeholder projects and Experience working with NGOs, healthcare programs, or donor-funded projects.

Knowledge of monitoring & evaluation frameworks. Problem-solving and adaptability in dynamic environments.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?20,000.00 - ?25,000.00 per month
