role is responsible for supporting end-to-end project delivery and ensuring high-quality software outcomes by working closely with Project Managers, development teams, QA teams, and clients. The role involves effective coordination, requirement understanding, documentation, progress tracking, and execution of quality assurance activities. The incumbent will ensure timely delivery, adherence to project scope, and compliance with organizational standards, including
SDLC and QALC
processes.
Key Responsibilities
Project Coordination
Assist Project Managers in project planning, scheduling, tracking, and monitoring of deliverables
Coordinate with clients and internal stakeholders to gather requirements, clarify queries, and provide regular project updates
Prepare, review, and maintain project documentation including
System Requirement Specifications (SRS), project plans, system flows, meeting notes, and status reports
Track project milestones, dependencies, and timelines; proactively identify risks, issues, and deviations and escalate as required
Prepare and share
daily, weekly, and monthly project status reports
with stakeholders and management
Support project reviews, customer demos, walkthroughs, and presales activities in coordination with delivery and sales teams
Act as a point of contact between business and technical teams to ensure smooth communication and alignment
Quality Assurance
Analyze business and system requirements to ensure clarity, completeness, and testability
Prepare detailed
test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and test data
aligned with project requirements
Perform
manual testing
including system, integration, regression, and UI/UX testing for web and mobile applications
Execute test cases, identify defects, and log, track, and manage them to closure using defect tracking tools such as
JIRA, Bugzilla, or Mantis
Work closely with development teams to validate fixes and ensure timely resolution of defects
Participate in test execution reporting, quality reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives
Ensure adherence to defined quality standards, best practices, and SDLC / QALC guidelines
Required Skills
3 to 7 years of experience
in Project Coordination, Software Testing, or Quality Assurance within a software development environment
Strong hands-on experience in
manual software testing
(mandatory)
Good understanding of
SDLC, QALC, and Agile methodologies
Experience in preparing and maintaining
SRS, test cases, use cases, and project documentation
Hands-on experience with
test management and defect tracking tools
(JIRA, Bugzilla, Mantis, etc.)
Experience in testing
web and mobile applications
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong documentation capabilities
Strong analytical, coordination, and problem-solving skills
Ability to multitask, manage priorities, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Preferred Skills
Exposure to automation testing tools such as
Selenium or JMeter
Client-facing experience and involvement in project reviews or presales activities
Awareness of emerging technologies and industry best practices
