The Project:A pioneering project aimed to deploy GOYN\xe2\x80\x99s place-based, collaborative approach, for bridging the gap between supply-side skilling organizations and demand-side employers to make the logistics sector aspirational for youth with limited awareness and improve longer-term employment outcomes in Pune. Designation: Mentorship Coordinator, GOYN, Pune Expectations / Deliverables:
- Designing the mentorship process for logistics
- Assigning the Mentor- Mentee pairings
- Coordinating with Mentors on the status of their mentees
- Home visits of mentees to check progress
- Build healthy relationships with Both Mentors and Mentees.
- Cultivate a culture of action reflection to ensure ongoing learning and program development
- Understand the needs and how to respond to the requirements of the mentees
- Proper documentation of information collected
- Ensure smooth transition of youth in the program.
- Post graduation in any field, with 1-3 year of community engagement or counselling experience
- Computer proficiency- MS Office (excel, word and powerpoint) is must
- Deep empathy and a firm commitment towards youth development and growth
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in Marathi, Hindi and English
- Ability to handle difficult situations with confidence and wisdom.
