Job Overview:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and tech-savvy

Business Analyst

with expertise in

PHP-based platforms

, including

Shopify

and

WordPress

. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in gathering and analyzing requirements, writing

BRDs/FRDs

, and working closely with both technical teams and business stakeholders.

You should be comfortable working in

Agile/Scrum

environments, managing tasks through

Jira

, and translating business needs into scalable, actionable solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Work closely with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements. Prepare detailed

BRDs (Business Requirement Documents)

and

FRDs (Functional Requirement Documents)

. Collaborate with developers, designers, and QA teams to ensure business objectives are met. Act as the bridge between business teams and developers for projects using

PHP, WordPress, and Shopify

. Facilitate sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups using Agile/Scrum methodologies. Use

Jira

to manage user stories, bugs, and sprint tasks. Assist in creating

SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures)

for recurring workflows and support processes. Identify gaps in existing processes and recommend improvements for efficiency. Ensure successful implementation of solutions by participating in user acceptance testing (UAT).

Requirements:

Minimum

3+ years of experience

as a Business Analyst in a web development or eCommerce environment. Strong expertise in

PHP

,

WordPress

, and

Shopify

platforms. Proven experience in writing

BRDs

and

FRDs

. Deep understanding of

Agile

and

Scrum

methodologies. Hands-on experience with

Jira

or similar project management tools. Excellent written and verbal

communication skills

. Ability to translate business needs into technical language and vice versa. Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have:

Basic technical knowledge in PHP or front-end development. Experience working with third-party APIs and integrations. Familiarity with tools like Trello, Confluence, or Figma.
