The Project Coordinator will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring project activities at the Tihu location. The role involves liaising with stakeholders, ensuring timely execution of project deliverables, and providing administrative and operational support to the project team.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate day-to-day implementation of project activities in Tihu and nearby areas.
Assist the Project Manager in planning, scheduling, and monitoring project timelines.
Act as the primary point of contact for local stakeholders, partners, and vendors.
Track project progress and prepare periodic status reports.
Ensure compliance with organizational and donor requirements.
Support in budgeting, procurement, and financial documentation at the field level.
Organize community meetings, workshops, and training sessions.
Maintain accurate project documentation and records.
Identify risks and challenges at the field level and escalate as needed.
Ensure quality and timely delivery of outputs in alignment with project goals.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Social Sciences, Business Administration, Rural Development, or related field (Master's preferred).
2-4 years of experience in project coordination/implementation, preferably in Assam or Northeast India.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication (English, Hindi, and Assamese preferred) and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and project management tools.
Ability to work independently and in a multicultural team environment.
Willingness to travel within Tihu and other project sites in Assam.
