Role Overview:
The Project Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and ensuring the smooth operation of the center, coordinating daily activities, and driving the project's goals to create meaningful community impact. This position requires strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills to guide a diverse team and manage relations with donors and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Operations Management:
? Ensure all day-to-day activities are completed at the assigned center.
? Oversee and monitor all ongoing projects and undertakings at the center.
? Plan and enhance programs to make them more impactful and meaningful.
2.Team Leadership and Development:
? Guide and mentor coordinators and other workers as needed.
? Conduct regular team meetings to resolve issues, address conflicts, and provide guidance on crucial matters.
? Foster harmony and collaboration among subordinates.
? Identify and implement strategies to improve the capabilities of team members and self.
3.Reporting and Documentation:
? Consolidate reports from the center and prepare quarterly and annual project reports for senior reference.
? Submit Narrative, MnE, and LFA reports, along with meeting minutes and financial reports, regularly to the Program Manager
? Maintain systematic financial records and submit them to the head office periodically.
4.Stakeholder Engagement:
? Providing necessary details and updates as required to doner.
? Incorporate suggestions from superiors to improve work and ensure the project thrives.
5.Conflict Resolution and Guidance
? Solve team issues, address conflicts, and facilitate effective problem-solving strategies to maintain peace and harmony.
6.Required skills:
? Proven experience in managing community projects or similar roles.
? Strong leadership and communication skills.
? Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain meticulous records.
? Proficient in report writing and financial documentation
? Adaptable, with a focus on continuous improvement and learning.
