The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in coordinating and managing projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and alignment with client expectations. This position requires exceptional organizational skills, a strong understanding of interior design processes, and the ability to collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Project Coordination
Assist in planning, scheduling, and managing interior design projects.
Act as the main point of contact for clients, contractors, and vendors to ensure seamless communication.
Coordinate design development, procurement, and construction activities.
Budget and Timeline Management
Monitor project budgets and track expenses to ensure alignment with financial plans.
Develop and maintain project timelines, ensuring milestones are met on schedule.
Client Interaction
Attend client meetings to understand project requirements and updates.
Provide regular progress reports and updates to clients and stakeholders.
Documentation and Reporting
Maintain accurate records of project details, including contracts, change orders, and progress updates.
Prepare and distribute project reports, schedules, and documentation as needed.
Team Collaboration
Work closely with designers, architects, and contractors to align project goals and execution.
Support the team in resolving project-related challenges promptly.
Procurement and Vendor Coordination
Oversee the procurement process, including material selection and vendor management.
Ensure timely delivery and quality of materials and furnishings.
Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor's degree in interior design, project management, or a related field (preferred).
2-4 years of experience in project coordination within the corporate interior design or related industry.
Strong understanding of design principles, materials, and construction processes.
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Trello, AutoCAD).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
