The Interior Project Coordinator will manage and support the execution of interior design projects from start to finish. With 4-5 years of experience in the industry, the candidate will ensure seamless coordination between clients, vendors, contractors, and the internal design team, while maintaining quality, budget, and time schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and communicate with clients, designers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
Create and manage project timelines, ensuring all deadlines are met.
Organize and maintain detailed project documentation, including contracts, proposals, design specs, and progress reports.
Oversee the procurement of furniture, fixtures, materials, and finishes, ensuring timely deliveries and cost compliance.
Conduct on-site visits to monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure quality control.
Assist in preparing project budgets, track expenses, and ensure projects stay within the allocated budget.
Facilitate and attend project meetings, documenting decisions, actions, and follow-ups.
Ensure all designs are compliant with relevant building codes and safety regulations.
Provide regular updates and reports to the Project Manager and clients.
Manage and coordinate any changes in design scope and ensure these are documented and communicated to all parties.
Maintain client relationships and address any feedback or concerns promptly.
Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
4-5 years of proven experience in interior project coordination or related fields.
Solid understanding of interior design principles, materials, and finishes.
Experience with design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, etc.) is a plus.
Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Trello, Asana).
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time management abilities.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in Project Management (PMP, CAPM) or Interior Design (NCIDQ) is a plus.
Experience working with contractors, architects, and other professionals in the design and construction
