SHEOWS is a leading NGO dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and care of destitute and abandoned elderly individuals. We work towards providing medical support, shelter, dignity, and a better quality of life to the elderly in need. The Project Coordinator will play a key role in ensuring smooth project operations, documentation, monitoring, and field coordination across centers.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Coordination & Implementation
- Coordinate day-to-day project activities across assigned centers.
- Ensure timely implementation of project plans and activities as per guidelines.
- Monitor progress and identify gaps or challenges in field execution.
- Support operational teams in ensuring smooth functioning of project interventions.
2. Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare high-quality project reports, monthly/quarterly progress reports, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate project records, data sheets, and activity reports.
- Draft case studies, success stories, field visit reports, and documentation required for donors or audits.
3. Monitoring & Evaluation
- Track project indicators and ensure data accuracy.
- Support in field assessments, surveys, monitoring visits, and evaluations.
- Provide feedback and insights for improving program quality and impact.
4. Stakeholder & Team Coordination
- Coordinate with field staff, supervisors, medical teams, and center coordinators.
- Liaise with donors, government departments, and partner organizations as required.
- Assist in organizing trainings, awareness programs, and community outreach activities.
5. Administrative & Operational Support
- Support in documentation, procurement, and compliance-related tasks.
- Ensure adherence to organizational policies, donor guidelines, and reporting standards.
- Assist the team with project-related documentation, donor requirements, and audit preparations.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong report writing and project documentation skills (mandatory).
- Good understanding of project management and field coordination.
- Knowledge of elderly care, community health, or social development projects (preferred).
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Canva.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and team coordination abilities.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Empathy and commitment towards serving vulnerable communities.
Preferred Qualifications
- BPH / MPH (Public Health background preferred)
- MSW (Social Work background preferred)
- Experience working with NGOs, healthcare projects, elderly care, or community-based programs.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
